Dr. 珍妮花 Fu cares for adults and children with difficult-to-treat alopecia when first treatments have been ineffective. She also cares for patients with medication-induced hair loss, including cancer survivors. She directs the UCSF Hair Disorders Clinic and works closely with patient advocacy groups, such as the National Alopecia Areata Foundation and Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation.

在研究, Fu and her colleagues examine defects in immune regulation in order to better understand hair loss caused by autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, with the goal of discovering new treatments. She also studies the wellness benefits of mind-body approaches and community-based support as a way of providing health care.

Fu earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. 加州大学旧金山分校, she completed a residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery (a specialized technique for treating complex skin cancers) and procedural dermatology.

    Although the md appears competent UCSF hair clinic isn't worth the effort. My dermatologist at CPMC ISAt least as qualified and CPMC is so much easier to navigate

    Dr Fu is very kind clearly explains and answers all ny questions shes very friendly and easy to talk too she cares snd listens and asks what I feel and think she undersyood my concerns and she very smart anaytical knowledgeable and selfless!!

    Dr Fu is a wonderful practitioner who carefully reviews issues and prior history to makes sure she covers all basis. She even reminded me of a prior issue that had resolved so I didn't even think about it

    No photos taken to give any comparison on progression of hair loss and provider did not give much information. She does answer questions when specifically asked. Does not consider patient feedback and concerns on care planning.

    Dr. 傅真是太棒了. The time constraints by the Tates scheduling was ridiculous. 这不是她的错. The system needs to give her at least a half hour with flexibility when needed. Perhaps tneed to be more doctors in the specialty there at the same time

    优秀的供应商. My one complaint is that she recommended a follow up in 3-4 months although she knew that the clinic has no appointments available for this. I wish she had addressed this problem with me because when I discovered that no appointments were available it was too late to discuss with her the medical implications of the indefinite delay.

    I feel that Dr Fu very much cares about us and she cares about providing comprehensive care. She is knowledgeable about her field and options for treatment. She goes out of her way to be available when it's a high need time. I have been very grateful to have her as our doctor.
